The Main Empty Container Depot of Nippon Marine Logistics is located about 07/Km. away from the Colombo Port, at the entrance of the second largest Free Trade Zone in Sri Lanka. This Depot is equipped with all modern Container handling equipment, all types of Container repair facilities, separate area for Reefer Units with Power Supply Facility. Every Empty Container is inspected and surveyed at the Depot, prior to releasing to the Customer, in order to ensure a guaranteed Service to our valuable Customers by way of providing with the Seaworthy and Cargo worthy Containers.

We are also the Agents for 02 nos. major Insurance Companies in Sri Lanka. They always provide a VIP Service to our Group of companies, due to the goodwill we have earned, over the last 03 decades.

We offer highly cost-effective solutions for handling of any type of Project Cargo (OH, OW, OOG) and store them at Open or Bonded Warehouses. Our well experienced  staff is able to handle Safety and Security cargo which needs special attention. Any Over Weight cargo which requires lifting Cranes etc., are also provided.

Our Transport Fleet, consisted of 20’Light and Heavy Duty vehicles, 40’ &45’ Prime Movers & Trailers & Flat Beds, provide an Island wide Door to Door to Service for both Exporters and Importers for transportation of any type of cargo, including Project Cargo.

Door Delivery, whether local or overseas is arranged, at our Customers’ convenience. Local deliveries are arranged through our own Transport Dept. while overseas deliveries are arranged through our strong and efficient Agency Network.

Through the excellent relationship with Local Authorities, our Experienced and skilled staff provides one day service to any type of cargo, whether Sea or Air.

Nippon Maruchi Lanka Shipping Lines (Pvt.) Ltd., the Freight Forwarding Arm of our Group,undertakes handling of International Freight Forwarding business. They undertake handling of both Sea Cargo and Air Cargo, Road Transportation and Cross Trading Shipments. They are well equipped to handle any type of Cargo to any part of the World. Professional, well experienced, skilled and dedicated Staff provides an innovative & highly customized service to our valuable Customers.

Although the South Asia Region is our targeted Market, we have extended our services to other Far East Destinations as well as to Gulf and Red Sea destination. At present, we maintain weekly sailings from Colombo to all South Indian Ports of Tuticorin, Cochin, Chennai, N’Sheva & Mumbai. In addition to said S/Indian Ports, we have regular weekly sailings to Mundra, as well.
In the near East Region, we cover the Ports of Singapore, Port Kelang, Tanjun Pelapas, Bangkok and Laem Chebang while the Arabian Gulf and Red Sea Ports of Dubai, jabel Ali, Kuwait, Port Shuwaikh, Damam & Bahrain are covered by our AG/Red Sea Service.

We also offer a broad range of supply chain Solutions including Vessels Operation in Port, Vessel Husbandry, Container Depot Handling & monitoring of Equipment movements.
